Regional workshop hosted by the Territorial Commission for combating THB from Causeni

      On June 30, was held a workshop hosted by the Territorial Commission from Causeni, to which were invited representatives of the Territorial Commissions  of the districts of Dubasari, Anenii-Noi, Stefan-Voda and Chisinau. As a result of this workshop, was concluded the cycle of the 6 regional workshops organized during the period from 20 May to 30 June 2016. This event involved the transmission of best practices, ideas and visions produced by the Chairman of Territorial Commission from Causeni as a result of visit held earlier in Romania, Târgu-Mures City (4-7 April 2016). Moreover, the Chairman of Territorial Commission from Causeni has presented some ideas for the future related to the opening of an emergency placement for children in situations of vulnerability.

      Also, the Chairmans of Territorial Commissions has discussed the difficulties of funding mechanisms, in order to ensure sustainability of services developed at district level.

      The head of the Permanent Secretariat of the National Committee for combating trafficking in human beings, Ecaterina Berejan brought in attention of specialists report's recommendations concerning the actions of the Group of experts against trafficking in human beings (GRETA) in implementing the Convention of the Council of Europe (second round), indicating the importance of their implementation by the year 2017.

      Members of the Territorial Commission Causeni have submitted inter-institutional advancements, simulating sitting, giving relevant examples of intervention cases. Finally, participants at the workshop had visited the Center for assistance and protection of victims and potential victims of THB in Causeni.
