Workshop on the development of capacity and coordination of joint actions in order to attract the necessary funds for combating THB

      2-3 August 2016, at the initiative of the Permanent Secretariat of the CN CTFU in partnership with the International Centre for Migration Policy Development in Vienna (ICMPD) took place the works of the third workshop on "Capacity development and coordination of joint actions in order to attract the necessary funds for combating THB". The primary purpose of it being a methodological guidance planning of anti-trafficking activities, attracting financial resources for activities of prevention, assistance and protection, project management, and strengthening partnerships with NGOs at the local level in the southern region.

      The target group of the seminar are secretaries of TC CTFU from Comrat, Basarabiasca, Ciadir-Lunga, Vulcanesti, Taraclia, and representatives from Bender, Tiraspol, Odessa. The event was attended by exponents of local NGOs « Institute for Decocracy», «Together for life», «Women's Initiative», «Interaction», «Childhood for children», «Hope», «Veritas», Center «Resonance» and PO «Psycho-social center».

      The seminar topics tackled are the role of TC and other partners at local level in combating THB, successes and difficulties in coordination of anti-trafficking policy efforts of various partners, the main problems in the field of preventing and combating THB, main elements of the project concept and formulation of the problem/goal setting, follow-up activities, assessment of the resources required for the implementation of the project, identification of various partners for combating THB and effort coordination, presentation of projects concept in partnership aimed at preventing/combating THB and evaluation of risk assessment in order to ensure sustainability.

      The main strategy used by national experts Tatiana Fomina, Nicolae Cretu and Sergiu Lisenco are presentations, brain storming, working in group, discussions, interactive activities, practical applications and theoretical framework. Thus, working teams have generated ideas and formulated concepts for the purpose of writing projects in the field of prevention, assistance and researches of THB.
