Chisinau, October 8-9, 2013: The French Embassy – in cooperation with the Republic of Moldova- organized the 2013 Regional Conference “Combating Trafficking in Human Beings in South-Eastern Europe: For a better protection of children”.

The 2-days Conference in Chisinau gathered experts from more than 15 countries of South-Eastern Europe, as well as representatives of international and regional organizations. The event aimed to collectively discuss ways of how to strengthen the efforts in the fight against trafficking of children and criminal networks.

The works of the Conference took place in 4 Sessions: Prevention of trafficking of children, Protecting minors according to specific standards, Fighting against criminal networks of minors’ trafficking and organised transnational crime, Specific approach towards fighting against trafficking via Internet.
